You're right, there are two types of people. Renters and Owners. I'm an owner. I like the house maintenance, and I come from a line of family who takes pride in making the home better than it was when we purchased it. I hated waiting for a landlord to fix things, and then they would do a half-ass job.
I respect renters. and I am too much of an introvert to live in a place where I share walls with strangers. that's a level of peopling I can't do.
That is surprising I didn’t know that. People in Oregon have so many Dogs and cats they probably couldn’t rent a place if they didn’t allow it, although homes for rent often forbid it
Well, I like apartments... I am with your friend. I understand the appeal of buying, but with amortization and taxes etc. etc. insurance... man! We are considering a condo sometimes, but also like to stay mobile and not spend all our money on a downpayment.
